Coach Ash has went above and beyond this season by leading the Bobcats to an 11-1 record, the highest total for the Bobcats since 1984. Ash became the program’s all-time winningest coach this season, guiding the program to the Big Sky Conference title for the third consecutive year, the longest streaks in the school’s history. With the season winding down, the Bobcats are ranked No. 2 in the Sports Network poll and a third overall seed in the FCS playoffs.

Ash has 50 victories under his belt in his six years as head coach. His winning percentage of .704 is the second highest in school history and the 27 consecutive weeks Montana State has spent in the top-25 is a school record.

Off the field, coach Ash and his staff support the academic responsibilities of their student-athletes, and since arriving in 2007 has seen Montana State’s academic progress rate improve more than 60 points.
